Our harvest began under the sun, naturally!

The sound of pruning shears has replaced the song of cicadas that serenaded our grapes all summer long.

First plots: those in Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence.

First impressions: delightful color and tempting aromas are present.

Wines made by a woman 

Aurélie Saadi creates the Villa Moncigale wines. Provence shaped her childhood and continues to inspire her.

“I have always been passionate about Provence! Even as a child, I was lulled by the scent of lavender and thyme when I went for walks in the Alpilles.”

With its nuances of rose and aromas, the 2022 collection reflects the many facets of Provence that she loves. To create these rosé wines, she identified the freshest terroirs and then, like a perfumer's organ, blended the grape varieties according to the style of wine required: freshness, aromatic intensity and finesse.

A century-old story 

Villa Moncigale produces top-flight rosé wines from the terroirs around Mont Sainte-Victoire that are intensely aromatic, fresh and delicate.

A collection in 5 shades of pink that takes its name from history, Villa in reference to the Roman occupation of Provence, and from nature, in reference to the Mont des Cigales (cicadas’ mountain), a conservation area for the cicadas – the emblems of Provence.

Tasting moments 

Our story begins with a Legend, followed by its Awakening, and continues with its Flight to divine Olympus... Provence as a terroir expressed in five shades, five vintage rosé wines produced from plot selections around Mont Sainte-Victoire. A cameo of pink and an explosion of aromas in a style that blends finesse and freshness.
